By the start of the millennium at least a trillion aluminum cans had been tossed into the trash. These cans weren’t recycled and they take 250 years to decompose in a landfill. It’s encouraging to know that an aluminum can can be recycled and back in a store as a new can in as little as 60 days. Recycling is big business but it’s nice to know that creative individuals are doing their part to find ways to reuse old soda and beer cans.

In line with my vision of sustainable fashion, I’m in love with these earrings handmade from recycled aluminum cans created by artist, Linda Banning.

These earrings have vibrant colors that will pop in the sunshine. They have an enamel finish, no sharp edges, and are so lightweight you’ll forget that you are wearing them until you get a compliment or see someone staring at your ears. They are 100% quality. Get them while they last.
